Rape Statistics:

There are many such cases and victims. If we go on mentioning every one then we may gate an endless list of victims. A few of them only reached the destination of justice and many are still pending. Court trials are still continuing.More than 32,500 cases of rape were registered with the police in 2017, about 90 a day, according to the most recent government data. Indian courts disposed of only about 18,300 cases related to rape that year, leaving more than 127,800 cases pending at the end of 2017.

Rape is the fourth most common crime against women in India. According to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) 2013 annual report, 24,923 rape cases were reported across India in 2012. Out of these, 24,470 were committed by someone known to the victim.

Many of the culprits has been hanged. Many has been sentenced to prison. And many are still free. Justice has been stabbed under the pressure of politicians and people with money power and sources.

Actual Solution:

Let me ask you something. What is the main reason for the increased number of rape cases in India? Give me your opinions in the comment section. But I think that there are only two main reasons for the increased number of rape cases in India.

rape victims rape cases justice

Firstly, lack of moral education. This is the main cause of the increasing number of rapes in India. People have forgotten how to treat others. Everyone has developed a negative mindset about each other. They said, “her clothes were provoking “. If so then the creation of a female’s body is also the same as the body of our mother and sisters. If so, then you can guess the types of mindsets causing rapes.

Parents and teachers should provide knowledge of moral values to their children and students. Moreover, schools should include subjects related to moral values in the school curriculum so that our coming generation could be a better human being and never think of committing any crime like rape. They should teach students how to respect those who deserve. Teachers and parents should explain the difference between rights and wrongs to children. Sex education should be compulsory in schools because sex education is mandatory.
Hanging to death

Secondly, the unavailability of such a punishment which is more painful and severe than death for the culprits. The culprits should be given such a punishment that before raping a girl, a person thinks 10-15 times. The punishment should be so harsh that anyone can not even think of raping someone. They should not be given an easy death like hanging. Instead, they should be given death every day or the most painful and frightening death.

We cannot do anything for the second reason because it’s in government’s hand. But the solutions for the first reason is in our hands. This is our country and making it beautiful is our own duty. So, let us give proper knowledge and right education to our youngsters so that our country can become a safe and better place for everyone to live in.
